There is a very special tree on the terrace of Bar Brasserie NEXT: The Many Tree, designed by multi-talented Joshua Russo-Batterham from Studio JNRB. After its introduction at Dutch Design Week 2022, the tree was showcased at The New Block and the Stationsplein in Eindhoven, and is now taking root in the garden of the Next Nature Museum.

The idea for The Many Tree emerged when Joshua asked himself, "What if we could build our own trees?" With this question in mind and a lot of passion, he embraced this challenge. The result is a combination of art, nature, and innovation.

In addition to being impressive to look at, The Many Tree also contributes to advancements in research on alternative methods for urban greening. As the first project of Studio JNRB, The Many Tree marks an important first step.

Although The Many Tree has only recently been on display at the Next Nature Museum, the collaboration began much earlier. The nursery for The Many Tree was already set up on our terrace, where Joshua cultivates the passion fruits that can be seen on the tree.
