The Next Nature Museum, located in the iconic Evoluon building in Eindhoven, will serve as a dynamic space where the boundaries between biology and technology blur. The ‘museum of the future’ is dedicated to exploring ‘the next nature,’ a philosophy that assumes our technological environment has become so ubiquitous, complex, and autonomous that we should consider it a nature in itself.

"The Next Nature Museum is not just a place to learn about the technology of tomorrow, but also a future lab where we create a shared future, not only for humans but for all life on Earth."

Currently, the exhibitions ‘RetroFuture’ and ‘Spacefarming’ are open to visitors. The museum will regularly launch new exhibitions and programs that invite visitors to actively participate in shaping our collective future.

“With access through the Museum Pass, we hope to inspire a new generation of thinkers and makers to tackle the challenges and opportunities of the future. Our goal is to be a platform for discussion, learning, and discovery, with an emphasis on innovation and sustainability,” says Van Mensvoort.

The development of the Next Nature Museum will take place in multiple phases. The first phase focuses on raising funds to develop the permanent exhibition. Additionally, there are plans to make the building more sustainable, so it can embrace the latest technological developments in line with Next Nature’s vision. In the coming period, Next Nature will actively seek partners and funds to realize these steps.
