Next Nature researches and visualizes the impact of new technology on our daily lives. We make a possible future tangible for a large audience, which allows us to better determine what kind of future we actually want. We translate our urgent vision into various media; including mobile expos.
Interrupt your meeting with a visit to our Nano Supermarket. Kickstart your brainstorm with a flight in our VR Time Machine. Dot the i's and cross the t's during a relationship dinner with our Future Food Formula. Next Nature has various mobile expos that you can book. At our Next Nature Museum, or at your location.
Future Food Formula
Design your own vegetables
Imagine... It's 2030 and every kitchen is equipped with a high-tech vertical farming device. You put a seed in the growth chamber, download or create the growth recipe of your choice, and see your personalized vegetable come to life.
The customised growth recipes make your vegetable fantasies come true. With a digital interface, you can create your own personalized growth recipe and directly monitor the impact of your input on the crop. Purple or orange? Mild or extra spicy? With increased vitamin C? Perfectly ripe just in time for Friday night dinner!
The Future Food Formula is an interactive installation that puts you in the shoes of a high-tech farmer, allowing you to design your personalized future vegetables. A thought-provoking and inspiring experience about future food production. The installation consists of two touchscreen displays and three Future Food prototypes, including their growth recipes.

Bistro in Vitro-ijskar
Meat the Future
The Bistro In Vitro ice cart explores possible dishes and food cultures that In Vitro meat technology might bring us one day. Visitors are invited to discuss the future of meat, while tasting our selection of meat.
In the Bistro In Vitro ice cart, visitors are taken into the atmosphere of our speculative restaurant Bistro In Vitro, which will open its doors in 2028. As a preview of our restaurant’s opening, your visitors can taste six flavors of meat ice cream and, from our interactive menu, they can choose which speculative in vitro meat starters and main courses they would like to order in 2028. Optionally, they can record a video message stating how they think of in-vitro meat right now...
This project focuses on the future of food, and more specifically, the future of meat production. Inspire your visitors with this unique and high-quality project at your festival, conference, company, or museum. The discussions sparked by this project stimulate innovative thinking.
NANO Supermarkt
50 products from the future
The NANO Supermarket is an exhibition disguised as a supermarket that showcases speculative nanotech products from artists and designers that could be on the shelves within the next 10 years.
Google Nose, Energy Belt, Interactive Wall Paint, The Healing Game, and many more: our traveling mobile store allows people to experience the impact of nanotechnology on our daily lives. The thought-provoking nanotech products in the NANO Supermarket are both innovative and useful, as well as eerie and unsettling. Our products function not so much as predictions for the future, but rather as scenarios for possible futures that help us decide which nano-future we actually want.
