VISIT DDW2024 IN OUR MUSEUM
From October 19 to 27, the largest design event in Northern Europe returns to Eindhoven: the Dutch Design Week (DDW). This year the Next Nature Museum is again one of the main venues for this exciting event.
Delve into the aesthetics of a new beauty movement with Honestly, I Think You Look Great, explore architecture for micro organisms with Microbial Oasis, or watch how a heart changes in realtime to reflect the emotional state of the world with theHeartAI. With nearly 20 projects in the iconic dome of the Next Nature Museum, there's plenty to see and experience!
In addition to the special DDW program, visitors with a DDW ticket can view our exhibitions, RetroFuture and Spacefarming, for free.
During Dutch Design Week, the museum is open only to DDW ticketholders. Regular tickets to the museum and tickets for Friends and Family are not available for this week.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT: BREATHING SESSION
Everyone increasingly struggles to focus. We overflow with useless information and are rushed, overloaded, and exhausted. How do we still maintain a grip on our attention? How do we ever recharge?
Instead of an abundance of stimuli, artist Geoffrey Lillemon advocates for rest, recovery, and reflection. Lillemon hosts exclusive breathing sessions that let you rediscover what it's like to experience complete peace and achieve a renewed, future-proof state of mind.
Don't miss out: come relax and take a moment to get away from the DDW hustle and bustle. The sessions are only available during Dutch Design Week, as a sneak preview of the Digital Wellness Center that will open soon in the Next Nature Museum.
The Breathing Sessions take place daily between 11:00 and 18:00. Content warning: the Breathing Session is not suitable for visitors with photosensitive epilepsy.
