This weeks peculiar image was made by Elephant Artist Sri Siam at the Lamphang Elephant Camp in Thailand. It is hard to tell whether the elephants actually know what they are drawing, or that they have learned to imitate a teachers work or their caretaker is directing them how to draw. When elephants are capable of practising such a peaceful exercise, isn't it amazing that the South African governement recently announced that it would lift a 13–year old ban on the culling of elephants? (article National Geographic)
