Dissected Motorcycle

Our peculiar image of the week is a motorcycle cut-up by artist Alexandra Bircken, which we can't help but interpret as a next nature version of the famous disected cow of Damien Hirst.

The dissected motorcycle learns us that, like in old nature, much of the inner workings of next nature are occluded to us. The cut-up motorcycle will be on display this spring at Museum Boymans van Beuningen.
