There is no denying that the Evoluon has been an icon for Eindhoven from day one. The building, which was gifted to the city by Philips in 1966, still tells a story about the future 60 years later. Although it has served multiple functions, Next Nature is now continuing that future.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The installation created in honor of the 60th anniversary takes you through the history of the building. In chronological order, you learn about its origins; from the very first sketch to the last building block. Through beautiful illustrations, you see how the interior also took shape. Unique photos and moving images bring the past to life, and accessible descriptions show you the way.

Besides looking back, the exhibition shows how Next Nature continues to connect science and technology and makes people think. As a visitor, you even get a sneak preview of what lies ahead.

From September 25, the Evoluon installation can be seen on the ground floor of the Next Nature Museum.
