Future Love

On Valentine's Day, we organized an evening about the future of love. In the museum's dome, visitors had the opportunity to marry their favorite object. Artist Pauline Wiersema (Pinopotato) acted as master of ceremonies and gave this ritual a new, contemporary dimension.

Marry your favorite Object

There was quite a bit of getting married this evening. Jacob van Lier married an AI. Koert van Mensvoort married our planet, and Honor Newman married her new son, Dustin. The evening also attracted the attention of Omroep Brabant. In short, an evening of humor, but also raising the question of what love and relationships mean today, in a world full of technology and stuff.

Visitors could marry their beloved object or AI chatbot at the Next Nature Museum.

Meanwhile, we also opened the Digital Wellness Center. In this context, Koert van Mensvoort spoke with Rudy van Belkom, Heleen Blanken, Jules Ruis, and Marleen Stikker, all involved in the realization of this beautiful new exhibition.

About the Digital Wellness Center

The Digital Wellness Center explores how we can interact with digital technology in a healthy, conscious, and human way. In a world where screens, algorithms, and online stimuli increasingly influence our daily lives, the center invites visitors to pause and reflect on their digital habits. Through playful installations, critical reflection, and a forward-looking perspective, the exhibition demonstrates how technology can become not only faster and smarter, but also healthier.

Love in all forms

There was much more. The Liefdesdokters gave an interactive performance and DJ Wing Mok played powerful love songs. In addition, there were special digital speed dates hosted by Marjolein Vogels and Alice Gioria (WhyNot) under the banner of OurSpace.
