Gardens of the Future

Focusing on natural food production, architecture firm MJZ is creating ‘gardens of the future’ -- a proposal for a new urban farming initiative in Poland. With an aim to integrate social activities with an interest in environmental protection, the proposal brings attention to local economies by suggesting having fresh products grown and sold in every district that are accessible to everyone. The project reduces the need for mediators, potentially reducing a large cost factor in the food delivery chain. The urban cultivation center is designed as a big technological and organic laboratory that allows room for experimentation for everyone involved.
