AI Tries to Decode Dolphins

Remember the Cetacean Hearing and Telemetry project? Well, consider this as its sequel. Researchers in Sweden are developing a "dolphin dictionary" after successfully mastering 40 human languages thanks to an artificial intelligence language analysis software.

Understanding dolphin is the company's first decoding of a non human form. Over a four year project period, the sounds by emitted dolphins have been recorded to be analyzed and decoded. While it might sound like a strange plan at first, think about the zoologists that will benefit from this knowledge. And who knows, one day we might be able to have a discussion with our flipper friends!
