During Future Planet, astronaut André Kuipers shared his experiences and his vision for the future of our planet. In an exclusive interview conducted by Koert van Mensvoort, he took the audience on a journey into his world of space travel, sustainability and the Earth’s fragility.

We also screened the impressive film Beyond, Ode to the Earth. The images were enhanced by music from Vangelis and Armin van Buuren. There were also short presentations by astrobiologist Inge Loes ten Kate (Utrecht University), space farmer Wieger Wamelink (Wageningen University) and space law specialist Dimitra Stefoudi (Leiden University).
