Everyone is welcome to bid on special pieces of the building's history, including paintings, original sketches of the Evoluon by architect Louis Kalff, classic tableware, and vintage furniture spanning six decades.

The evening will also feature live 1960s music by local Eindhoven band MOOON. The museum will be open, and exclusive backstage tours will be available. This event is part of Friday Next and is organized in collaboration with Effenaar, Brabant C, and ASML.

Mike Weerts

After graduating from the Academy of Drama in Eindhoven in 2005, Mike has become a staple of the Dutch film, television, and theater scenes. Alongside his acting career, he regularly takes the stage as a presenter and event host.

As a true Eindhovenaar through and through, Mike has a huge passion for the city. He is dedicated to telling Eindhoven’s story, bringing people together, and making a real social impact. With his wit, experience, and Brainport pride, he is the perfect auctioneer for our Evoluon auction.

MOOON

Stepping into the world of MOOON feels like stepping into a time machine. The young Brabant power trio, consisting of brothers Tom and Gijs de Jong and their cousin Timo van Lierop, transports listeners back to the golden age of pop music: the heyday of 1960s and 70s psychedelia. Their third album, fittingly titled "III," was released last February on Excelsior Recordings and the German label Soundflat Records.
